Eligibility for Returns
- We accept returns on standard products within 14 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.
- Custom lighting solutions and bespoke installations are non‑returnable, except in cases of defect or damage.
Return Fees
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns of standard lighting products.
- A 20% return fee applies to custom lighting products that are accepted for return under special circumstances.
- These fees cover inspection, handling, and restocking costs.
Refunds
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days, less applicable return fees.
- Shipping fees are non‑refundable.
Exchanges
- If you need to exchange an item for a different size, finish, or model, please contact us within the 14‑day window.
- Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
- For custom projects, adjustments will be handled through a separate service agreement.
Damaged or Defective Items
- If your order arrives damaged or defective, notify us within 48 hours with photos of the item and packaging.
- We will arrange a replacement or repair at no additional cost.
Exceptions
- Sale items are final and cannot be returned.
- Products installed or altered after delivery are not eligible for return.
How to Initiate a Return
- Contact NIGHTTREE at nighttreedesign@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return.
- We will provide instructions for shipping the item back.
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Return shipping fees will only be waived if the item was defective or incorrectly supplied within South Africa. International return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.
